In the Beginning

            Mattress Warehouse has been a Birmingham Alabama privately owned and operated company since 1971. That makes Mattress Warehouse truly one of the oldest specialty sleep shops in the United States. We have proudly served and helped Alabama residents get a better nights rest for over 40 years.  The first Mattress Warehouse store was opened in East Lake off of 1^st Ave and is still open today. We have always stayed true to our roots of being a service oriented southern company. Our staff members are all veteran sleep professionals, and they all take time to educate every customer on making an educated decision about their sleep and how to save money. It is true; we love to help our customers save money. We believe that is why we have been able to stay in business for so long and the other companies keep coming and going.   

Growing Strong

Since the beginning we have now grown to be the largest mattress specialty store in the greater Birmingham area. We recently opened our 9^th location in Leeds. There are 6 regular stores and 3 clearance centers. Having stores all over the city has allowed us to be right in your back yard so you don’t have to drive across town to see us anymore. We do have plans of expansion in and out of Birmingham to better serve our customers.

Our Strategy

The largest inventory in Alabama is right here in Pelham. We have our 20,000 square foot warehouse centrally located in Alabama to make deliveries all over the state. Thousands of sleep sets ready for next day delivery and set up. The way we are able to save so much for our customers is by buying in bulk. We buy all kinds of specials in bulk from all the largest manufactures. We have always put our main focus on savings. In other words, we are a discounting company. If we can discount the price on a product, we will. You never have to play games with our associates. We put everything on sale at the lowest price we can from the beginning.
